| A mermaid wandered off to a secluded lake when she saw a shimmer in the distance.. She headed towards the beautiful light unaware of what she will find. Through the glowing fog she found a fairy crouched as her wings kept her off the water. Won by curiosity, the mermaid talked to the fairy, "What creature are you?" The fairy straightened up to look at the mermaid and said, "I am a fairy silly! and may I ask the same to you?" The mermaid replied with an amuse look in her eyes, "I'm a mermaid silly!" She showed off her tail by swimming ang jumping off the water. "How I envy your golden fins! I would gladly give up being a fairy to be like you", said the fairy. "Why be like me? I would give you my fins if I could float off the water and have very pretty and shimmery wings like yours", replied the mermaid. "Then let's make a trade!.........." |
